When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, the visitor’s IP address, and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
An anonymized hash of your email may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you’re using it. Their privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once approved, your profile picture is visible with your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as visitors can extract that information.

Cookies

  • If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies. These last one year.
  • A temporary cookie is set when visiting the login page to check browser compatibility.
  • Login cookies last two days (or two weeks if “Remember Me” is checked).
  • Screen settings cookies last one year.
  • An additional cookie is stored when editing/publishing a post. It expires after 1 day.
